We collect data from you only when we enter into a contract to make holiday arrangements on your behalf. The personal information we collect includes your name, address, email address and passport details which are all required purely for the purpose of making your travel arrangements.

Your personal information is only shared with our suppliers, such as tour operators, airlines and hotels in the UK, European Union and beyond in order to carry out the contractual arrangements for your holiday. By booking a holiday through us you consent to this transfer of information.

Occasionally we may require you to provide details of your health to share with a tour operator prior to travel. We will do this only with your consent and where special requirements, such as those relating to any disability or medical condition, may affect the chosen trip arrangements.

We take stringent steps to ensure that your information is stored securely, in particular passport information which is password protected.

You are entitled to a copy of your information held by us. If you would like to see this please ask us.

We also use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter with ideas about holidays, new destinations and special offers and also invitations to travel events that we may host. The newsletter is delivered through Mailchimp, who have their own privacy policy, and you may unsubscribe at any time either using the link at the bottom of the newsletter or emailing our Data Protection Officer at sales@marcopolotravel.co.uk.
